Soccer Complex Parking
For the remainder of the 2023 Fall Soccer season and moving into future seasons at our RW Screw Soccer Complex we will not permit any parking on the street behind the goals on Fields 1 & 2. This is the field side of the street only, the opposite side of the street parking is permitted. This is the side of the complex where our sign is. We have witnessed numerous instances of players/children almost getting hit by oncoming vehicles coming off of rte. 241, with it getting darker earlier and multiple games at the same time we need to keep this area clear for the safety of our children. Also cars are starting to ruin our grass and pull all the way out into the grass area. We have communicated with the City of Massillon and they are in support of this and will eventually be placing no parking signs on that side of the street in the near future. We have plenty of parking on site that is blocked off at the top of our complex, it is less than a 1 minute walk to our fields. There is also parking along the side of the complex on the road. Please relay this message to grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends etc.. that may be coming to watch your child play. This will go into effect beginning Saturday October 7th.
Notes:
- No parking on the street behind Field 1 & 2 goals
- All parking on the streets must be parallel and facing the correct direction in accordance with traffic laws
- There is NO off street parking except for the parking lot at the top of the hill, this means cars/vehicles are not permitted to pull into the property at an angle, they must parallel park if parking on the street and face the correct direction.
- No parking around/near fire hydrant
- Parking on the side street of field #1 should not begin until after the fire hydrant
