Officials General Info

Massillon Youth Sports is always in need of officials. If interested click on the sport you would like to officiate for more information.

MYSA will pay for needed trainings and classes to be certified at specific age levels as long as officials/umpires have a signed agreement with MYSA to officiate/umpire their contests prior to committing to any other league or organization. This may or may not be certification through the OHSAA and may be certification through other means. This certification will certify the official/ umpire for youth contests not high school or college. This is offered to current or recently graduated high school students, offer not valid for adults out of school. 

All officials/umpires are paid positions.
